I went to see "The Worlds Fastest Indian" last night and I thought it was really good. I highly recommend it to all racing fans or anyone who enjoys a good flick. This is how you make a good movie about racing. Casting Anthony Hopkins in the led as New Zealand's Burt Munro was an outstanding choice. I don't think Hopkins can make a bad movie.
Anyhoo.... I grew up attending Bonneville Speedweek and this movie does a great job of capturing some of the spirit of the Salt Flats, the people, the cars and land speed record attempts. This film will probably never make the money of Days of Thunder, but as a movie about racing its at least 100 times better......
On a side note my brother-in-law provided some of the cars used in the movie that are seen on the salt :-)
