I'll definitely watch that. I don't think I'll be ready to ride it though.

that is plenty far enough ahead to plan for! I need to replace some of my trashed padding & gear...hopefully, I won't have trashed myself before then :five:

I would love to try my had at Dh racing, but I Think I would have to get dh bike I don't think my Raligh ram 4.0 would be suited for down hilling.

my problem is I am getting on the aged side & would probably get smoked! I just enjoy doing it so much that I'd like to try

The key is to have fun at the races.

been racing for ten years.

I raced years ago - hardtail w/a Judy front shock of all things - took the last mens downhill I raced & just havent got back into it. Last year, ten years after my last race, I rode so much more advanced & difficult that it wasn't comparable - NCS course at Deer Valley - but now I just do it for fun so I'm a little apprehensible. I guess we'll see if I have the balls to go through with it. :2thumbs:

My first ride I actually paid full for & new was a GT Ricochet ball burnished frame hardtail with Judy front...clips & barends of all things. Took it right to Slickrock & did the only natural thing..wrecked it.
