This topic has no real point, Dirk, but I just had to share that every time I see your sig:

Bring me your so called "wine" and then your Women! Dirk Hammergate awaits!

It reminds me of a little Dead tune called Jack Straw:

We can share the women, we can share the wine

We can share what we got of yours 'cause we done shared all of mine

Keep on rollin', just a mile to go; Keep on rollin' my old buddy,

you're movin' much too slow.

Thanks my friend, Jack Straw certainly one of my top 5 Dead favorites. Classic Dead laydown, three Dead songs I can pick up at anytime Estimated Prophet, Jack Straw, and Fire on the Mountain...

Bring me the wine and women anytime...

Oh yes, all good tunes, fold in some Sugar Magnolia and add a splash of Ripple, and bake well... :cool2:

there was a movie that I saw during my mission called "Closing of the Fillmore" (I think) that you guys might like. It was 30 years ago but it was about the last week of the Fillmore when Grateful Dead, Boz Scaggs, Santana, Cold Blood, Lamb, and some others played. I had never been into the SanFrancisco music scene (still prefer Motown), but that had some decent music. Bill Graham was the owner/promoter of the Fillmore. I think he died just a couple of years ago.

I'll have to check it out. Really the only band from the SF scene that stuck with me from those days is the Dead.

I spent a lot of Mondays at the movies. Problem was most of them were with subtitles
