I've always enjoyed reading about how other's mistakes. What is the deal with CO people? Aron Ralstrom, and now this guy? I think I would have turned around long ago if winds make you look tipsey. I'm glad that this story was shared. I was on Idaho's tallest that same day (12-09-05) and we didn't even have a breeze up at 12,600+ ft.
Keep these stories coming! :2thumbs:

The summit of Mt. Borah was calm and the high pressure system made sure that the view was infinite.

and now thanks to you we all know that it can pick up a 220 pound person and fling him around like a rag doll. Your lucky there wasn't a 2000 foot cliff next to the summit. Its one thing to fall from 40 feet and land back on the ridge, but it's another to get carried over the edge of the void. You'll never climb with out a parachute again.... ok so I don't know how to spell parachute... Butt you get the idea....
