I was getting home at 6 tonight (thursday) and my uncle Mark called me up for a spontaneous outing at either Pineview or Willard Bay.
Pineview's a little cleaner, less bugs, and no pig farm smell. But, the days are ending sooner, and we'd have an extra hour at Willard bay.
The spontaneous outings are actually the best. You get a minimum of 3 people in the boat, and you head out for an hour or two. No extensive planning required. You can actually get some good time behind the boat this way, much more relaxing, and fewer boats on the water at night.
I used to be heavy into wakeboarding, and before that an avid waterskier. My knee's been shot all to hell :assault: , from 9 dislocations, a knee scope, and another dislocation after that. The last one was during wakeboarding last year.
I got my long awaited knee brace, DonJoy, so I tried it out tonight. I was able to jump the wake a few times, but still take it pretty easy in the maiden voyage. Nothing like I used to do, like 360's, railslides, and tantrums.
Here's a couple of pics from tonight.
