What are you listening to at the moment? What is actually in your CD player?

I just bought Out of Exile by Audioslave. It is their new album and I cant get it out of the CD player. I have heard several songs that I liked from them on the radio prior to this album. This new album is great and I would like to hear from anyone that has other albums from them. I liked both bands that formed this band. (Rage Against the Machine & Soundgarden) Audioslave seems to have a real good mix of both bands. The vocals are outstanding and the guitar is very good.

I have a burned CD with GN'R, Johnny Cash, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Soundgarden, and Oasis. Most all CD's I play are burned compilations. I go nuts if I listen to one band's CD for too long...though there are exceptions!

That's funny. I just bought a little 256meg MP3 player. I had some Rob Zombie, Rage Against the Machine, and Disturbed left over from the old Napster days, which promptly went onto it. It will continue to be loaded with hardcore metal.

I have my ipod on random and so it plays everything from Madonna (of course) to Ella Fitzgerald to Depeche Mode to The Police to John Mayer and so on and so forth. But, sad to say... no metal. I had Aerosmith and Halen on it a while ago, but then I took them off. I have been thinking of putting them back on again, maybe I'll do that tonight... hmmmmm.

I've found that realy angry agressive music helps me climb and ride agressively. Doesn't diminish the suffering, just pumps me up a bit....

Yeah I had AC/DC (For those about to rock we salute you) in my CD player the last time I tackled puke hill. I didn't make it to the top, but much further. :headbang:

Hey man I keep forgetting to ask, what area in WJC are you in? I'm just west of El Airpuerto Numero Dos. I'm on restriction right now, since the wife is due to pop anytime, but as soon as I'm allowed I'm planning on riding Yellow Fork backwards and GPS'ing the trail if you're interested.

Right now, my mp3 player (Creative MuVo TX FM, 256mb) has some Flogging Molly (http://www.floggingmolly.com), the soundtrack from Sim City 3000 (http://simcity.ea.com/coolstuff/sc3k_music/index.php) (may not sound interesting, but it's very good, a kind of metro/ambient fusion), a bit o' Gaia Consort (http://www.gaiaconsort.com), a one hour long hard trance mix by DJ Arcade called What's ur Game? (http://www.gspmagazine.com/html/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=22&ttitle=Dj_Arcade-Whats_Ur_Game?), a short album called Cold (http://als.hellven.org/incoming/dennis/) by Captain Tortilla, as well as a remix from Castlevania called Scourge of 1691 (http://vgmix.com/song_view.php?song_id=4277) and a song called Ashokan Farewell (I'm trying to learn to play it on my tin whistle).
