Did anybode else get pounded by that storm last night? The heaviest stuff came right over us. That has also got to be the first time I've ever been under a tornado warning. The sirens up on the base were even going off.

Here's some pictures of the calm before the storm in Sunset.

Weren't you living here when we had the Tornado back in 1999? :gloom: That was crazy man! My sister and I were at the Smith's in the Avenues right when it passed over on it's way to destroy all the unfortunate millionaires homes. :eek1: And when we got back to our house, the tree in our front yard was totally uprooted and lying in the middle of the street. But, all the homes were okay.

Did anyone else see the "BIG" one when it hit?

Wow, where were you at? It rained and there was lightning for a bit at my house, but only for about 45 minutes and not really all that serious.

I live in Sunset (far north Davis County). We got a direct hit.

Yeah, I was here, but that tornado was in SLC, whereas this warning was for northern Davis and southern Weber Counties.

Nice shots!! I was up big cottonwood canyon Mt. Biking. What a show! It looked worse up north.

As for the tornado. I was working near primary children's medical center. I watched the sucker go across downtown and then up the aves (taking roofs off as it went). All in a matter of minutes... :gloom: Is right...
