We just rode the Green Valley Loop last Saturday, June 11, and it was gnarly sweet! This is an amazing trail. We hit it after a major rainstorm and despite the large amount of water that came down, the trail was still in great shape with no puddles.

This trail is great for all abilities. You can take your beginner buddy or your expert downhill friend and both will have a great time.

The trail is in excellent shape and loads of fun!!!

I agree. It's a great trail. We hit it about 4 weeks ago. I don't think we did a post on it, we just had the helmet cam videos:

and

4 videos on each of these links.

They are a little shaky, but shows you how fast it can be. I've done this trail more than any trail down there. It's easy to get to, and you can do the whole loop in about an hour.

It's hard to take pictures on this trail, because you never want to stop to get the camera out. It's too much fun to stop.

So how was the weather?

The weather was sketchy, but we got lucky. We managed to hit a pocket in the storm and it was blue sky for our whole ride. However there was lightning striking all around us, so we hussled back.
