Sure, I'll comment. Some people always try and ruin it for the rest of us. Building illegal modifications to trails is one way to get a trail closed. All it would have taken is one teenager to break his/her back performing something they saw on Jackass or during the RedBullRampage....and that whole trail would likely have been closed. Building stunts or trail modifications without permission is just stupid. Us moutainbikers should dismantle any illegal stunts we come across before it gets that far.

That's right by one of the trailheads of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. This is the same trailhead we hit Wednesday, at the top of 22nd street. Looks like they ripped them out the day before.

Yeah I thought it was in the same area? :ne_nau: Have you seen these jumps? I don't like the idea of people building things without permission and I am certainly against anyone who is wrecking trails or habitat.

On the other hand I just hate when the fun police show up. Some of those types of forest people have nothing in their mind but to piss people off. Really some of them just want to flash a badge or show their authority. It is really a fine line. I guess I sit in the middle on this? Hard to judge without all the facts. My biggest concern is trails closing for any reason! BAD! :frustrated:
