We rode the shoreline in Ogden last night. A great little trail to hit after work when you have a few hours to kill. It was sprinkling in the valley when we left Salt Lake. But the further north we got the better the weather looked. No rain in Ogden and the trail conditions were great. The dirt was packed and just the consistency that I like. The trail is quite overgrown in places from all the rain and snow this year. The river was running high and fast but the bridges were in good shape. Have a look! :2thumbs:

Bastards!
:chairshot:
I tried Yellow Fork yesterday, but it was completely unrideable. I was looking forward to a Mountain bike ride, too.

We rode pipeline that same evening in the drizzle. A muddy mess but still fun. I did not realize how cold I was until I was home washing the bikes and the garden hose felt warm!

The first time each season is a killer. This is a really easy trail too. I've been riding my bike 16 miles a day, 3 days a week, and we just got back from the St George trip that you can read about.

But all of that conditioning goes bye bye after 5 Mtn dews.
