Is it too early in the season right now for these Arizona canyons? I'm going next weekend. Also, camping near the area?

    Thanks in advance.

    Petroglyphs ....undisclosed location.

After an intense negotiation with the landowner I was granted permission to view this Petroglyph site.

Jan, Sue, and Mary haven't seen each other since leaving school. They rediscover each other via Friends Reunited and arrange to meet for lunch.

    Edelweiss Rope Brush (cleaner)

I was at REI a couple weekends ago and saw that Edelweiss has a "rope cleaner".

I was intrigued and decided to buy one to test

Last minute, but my son and I are doing East Fork Pasture Canyon and White Roost Canyon this weekend. Anyone is welcome to join us.

  • Southern Skyline from Pineview

It's been a good month since I've been able to ride, and I was determined to ride this night even though the rain and big wind was picking up. It was still better than roofing the in-laws house, which happened anyways the next couple of nights.

This was also my chance to record with my new SJCAM, SJ5000+ instead of a GoPro. The video specs are pretty close, including 1080 at 60 frames per second, which is my favorite. It has the Wifi connection and can also be controlled via free app. And it has the LCD on the back so you can look at the viewfinder, watch your footage, or change your settings.

The size of the camera is almost identical to GoPro, and it fits in all of my old mounts which is a huge plus.

And it's $158 on amazon, compared to $499 GoPro Black.

Yes, I've been skeptical of the alternative GoPro cameras in the past, but you be the judge. Here's the footage from the ride:

A few pics, blessed be my ride with a double rainbow.
